PERAN PESANTREN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract


Islamic boarding school funcation as institution of Islamic education can play as motor of social development and exchanges. Looking for the development of Islamic boarding school especially in villages in reality can be as people’s moment and empowering people. Real activity of Islamic boarding school in empowering people can be seen on vocational competence to search, stimulate, and increase social economy of people, to develop productive bussines and to improve chances for people to get a safe economy and life by using exixting sources. By this context, Islamic boarding school plays as cultural brokers in a wider context.
